Bulk Materials, Inc. (BMI) is one of the largest bulk transportation or tank truck carriers in the U.S. After emerging from bankruptcy in 1995, BMI embarked upon a restructuring strategy including divestitures of certain subsidiaries and assets. In February 1997 the board of BMI asked Bengur Bryan to perform an independent review the restructuring plan being implemented by BMI’s management.
